Chris Dorn

Well-known and respected in the field though still a college student, Chris Dorn has presented at conferences in more than twenty-five states. Chris has served as a trainer for the U.S. Office of Homeland Security, FEMA, Israel Police, International Association of Chiefs of Police, National Association of Pupil Transportation, Bureau of Justice Assistance, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and numerous state departments of education, law enforcement and emergency management. Chris was ranked the top presenter out of forty-four presenters at the International Conference on Disaster Management in Orlando and has presented and keynoted for hundreds of state, national and international professional conferences.  Chris has authored and co-authored three books and has three more in press. Chris recently published a paper on schools and terrorism in the Journal of Emergency Management, the most widely circulated publication in the field of emergency management. He has appeared in several training videos and DVDs in use around the world and his much copied concealed weapons demonstration has been viewed by millions of people. Short versions of his weapons concealment demonstrations have been aired on Larry King Live, Good Morning America, the Sally Jesse Raphael Show, ABC World News Tonight and the Law Enforcement Television Network.  Widely considered one of the world’s top experts at contraband concealment and detection, Chris also has the unique distinction of serving as an analyst for Jane’s while still only 21 years old. His research on drug use and trafficking has taken him to England, The Netherlands, Mexico, Canada, Vietnam and France and his third book Innocent Targets – When Terrorism Comes to School is already in use by emergency management and homeland security officials in all 50 states and by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Chris is enrolled at the Georgia Institute of Technology where he is majoring in International Affairs.
